I’m so confused...

I’ve gone through the FAQ’s... what exactly is Rumble?
Is it a replacement YouTube? Is it stock videography?

I’m trying to figure out my purpose here and I’m failing to see an identity to plug into... looking at member profiles have not left me with any more answers to what this site does.

I have not downloaded the app I’m on my iOS browser...

I just need someone to leave me with some descriptions and explanations in layman’s terms 😂.

dito Jyn I feel the same way. It took me at least a year to figure out fb now I have to learn all this new and there isn't a simple explanation for anything. Is there a place for pictures and how do you download or whatever, where am I supposed to go to post my comments, how do I start a thread, just the simple stuff for now and remember I am 76 years old and when I went to school they didn't have computers so I need to be treated like a kindergartner.

I can see where you might easily get lost! I would think that it should start to fall for you- I think where I’m getting confused is between the content site of Rumble (videos etc) and the community site (here) which are forums. The disconnect left me confused.

I think it would be advantageous if it was updated more.

This site is on par with the BBForums I’ve been a part of since the 90’s, it seems.

And Barbara- you aren’t alone, the changeFacebook has made to its desktop version has completely screwed me up, as well.

I think Rumble is more for viewing videos and putting out content much like YouTube.

Also remember, it’s good to keep your brain learning new things!

if you haven’t figured it out here yet- were in the community section where people ask questions and discuss topics related to the site I believe.

The main content is at Www.rumble.com where you can subscribe to video channels as well as post your own videos much like YouTube. Try that and see if it helps? -J

That is what it feels like and I hope not because I used fb for a political outlet and discussion groups with a few pictures thrown in. There really is no place for people like me to vent our opinions and fb was great but now as I said before they are just Democrat liberal puppets with no place for opposing views. I was hoping to replace fb with Rumble.

It's comforting to see that other people are experiencing the same difficulty that I am, but I am accepting that I just have to keep milling around and picking up what I can bit by bit. I don't think it will do any good to wish it was as easy as YouTube.
At the same time I am reminded of the history AUTOCAD the standard in the industry. They made it easy for people to try their program (one description was of them flying across the country throwing version 1.0 out the window). What I am saying is that when you are trying to make an inroad on a program as ubiquitous as YouTube, accessibility is everything.
Typically the designers of programs assume intuitiveness for their many symbols, such as the lighting bolt that I see in the header above but alas this is not the case for many of us. Perhaps a clever creator may put together a tutorial.

I think so many new people feel the same. Rumble was originally geared towards viral video clips. They would often find people on YouTube with a good video but didn’t get much traction there and offer to help them make it go viral. That’s how I started here 6 years ago. Now they have much more content and are more able to provide an experience that resembles YouTube. The forum section was always geared towards video creators and we would discuss our rumble experience. It has turned into a hybrid political forum overnight so that is a bit confusing to both newcomers and older rumblers. It is a really fun place created by really innovative and positive people. I hope you all give it a chance.

Welcome! it's a video sharing platform with similarities to YouTube but it has a few twists. If you get the app it will make more sense in some ways. The app allows you to see the "rumble battles" where users get to vote on new content and there are cash prizes for the winners and even for those who participate. Another difference is YouTube is heavy on censorship and demonetization of what they seem to be edgy content but here you can upload anything as long as it's not illegal or pornograghy among a few other things. I'm kinda new too but I can tellr you the best thing about rumble is the community. This forum is awesome and everyone, so far at least, seems to really help each other when you need something answered. And unlike youtube the developers really seem to take the forum discussions seriously and are working round the clock to improve the rumble experience:)
