I dont like the idea that every video I post must be "approved" after I upload it.

This is a step in the opposite direction, and kinda defeats the entire purpose of rumble In my opinion. YT wishes they could screen each and every video before being made public on the site.
This is the way all video monetization sites work. If every video uploaded was instantly approved the site would be bogged down with non interesting material and possibly even pornographic stuff. There has to be a screening process of some kind. If your video is fairly engaging in some way you have a good chance of approval.

Im sorry but It is not up to content moderators to decide whether your or my material is "non-interesting" or not.

Not Them.
Not You.
Not Me.

Its up to the Viewers to decide for themselves what they think is interesting.

Period.

But approval is just for monetization and promotion right? I believe you could upload (almost) anything and share the link without any official approval. But I'm new here, and would love an official response.

Absolutely correct! We're starting to see some of the warts.

You nailed it. This is correct and is only for monetization and syndication purposes.

Once you upload your video, your video is free to share to the world without censorship (unless the content is illegal, contains pornography, or violates any laws).

The video then goes through a secondary process where we check if brands want to be placed next to the content (Advertisers choose the content they want to be beside, not Rumble). If the content is deemed safe by the advertiser, ads will be put next to it. This can be immediate, but currently there is a backlog due to overwhelming demand in the past 2 weeks. We apologize for this.

In the coming month, our team is going to provide a detailed summary on how this works so that its easy for everyone to understand.

I thought it was pretty obvious the approval was just for monetizing the video only? But i wanted to point out too that in the early days of minds.com there was a superfluation of porn and actual, and I mean actual, neo nazi content being posted, so it became necessary to screen, not censor, new content until a balance was reached... now when I go on minds I almost never see that stuff, not to say it isn't there at all, but they've worked out the kinks, as I expect Rumble will too. I think new sites like this have to protect themselves from being inundated with the worst humanity has to offer, and from woke individuals who would like to see this fail. Give it the benefit of the doubt!

My Uploaded Video Has Been Waiting For Approval 3 Days Now! I Did NOT Choose The Monetization Option, Since Doing So Requires A Pay-Pal Account. EXPLAIN THAT AWAY!!!

Really? I haven't added any pay pal information to my channel yet and my videos are monetized. Did you schedule your video perhaps? I noticed that when you schedule your videos for a future date the approval time takes longer!

Your video is live instantly. The PENDING only means that advertisers are checking if they want to put ads on it and there is a delay for this, but it does not affect your video at all, your video is working and shareable. You do not need to use Paypal, its just an option.
