Okay that's exactly what I thought. For some bizarre reason, even though I'm listing myself as a business, this year it asked for an EIN number when I listed my earnings (listed you as a source). I have to be doing this wrong then right?
This is normal, we usually get requests for EIN's and 1099's during tax season, but we are a Canadian company, we don't report to IRS and creators are not employees. We don't have any tax forms to provide really.
So are we are going in and changing things. Saying the money made is from cash income (it goes from u to paypal to the bank here). Self employment. I think that will work. Its odd because Im listing it as self, but for some reason Turbotax still kept thinking u were an employer. I think we got it now. Sorry for the bother. Hope others chime in too.
