Bug with "approved" video with less 15 minute requirement?

Just got the following error when trying to upload:

"We require at least one approved video before allowing the upload of videos longer than 15 minutes. Please upload a video shorter than 15 minutes. Once this video has been approved you will be able to upload videos with longer video duration."

...What exactly is an "approved" video? I've already uploaded THREE videos shorter than 15 minutes, that are monetized, so according to this criteria, I've already met that.

Here's a comment from Mario on this subject back in April:

We require that you have at least one approved video under an exclusive license before allowing the upload of videos longer than 15 minutes. This video can be of any length under 15 minutes.

Once a video has been approved for full distribution you will be able to upload videos of longer video duration.

We do this to reduce spam.

Ah, under "exclusive license" is what "approved" really means. Error message needs clarification, but thank you for the response.

The rules around approving content longer than 15 minutes have changed.

You need to have content in your account that has been approved, period. So technically your first approved video needs to be under 15 minutes so then you can submit content longer than 15 minutes.
